#6. Getting Ahead by Getting Along: Improving Your People Skills
This workshop deals with the fine art of getting along with others. It explores the need for “people skills” in the workplace, church and home. Students will conduct a survey that will help identify their own personality patterns. You will learn:
- What make you tick and what ticks you off
- A language describing your basic personality traits
- How to read people you meet quickly and accurately
- A way to get along better with your spouse by communicating more effectively
- How to raise your children according to their bend, not yours
- A strategy for getting along better with your boss, co-workers, clients, and anyone you meet
#7. Teambuilding 101
Teambuilding 101 deals with the development of informal and formal teams at home, work and church. It states the importance of building synergistic relationships and explores the trend of teams in both the workplace and church. This course gives biblical patterns of team-based ministry throughout the Old and New Testaments. Teambuilding 101 shares insights into the practical benefits and real reasons why teams succeed or fail. Teambuilding tips, techniques and tendencies of highly effective teams are given along with a practical look at troubleshooting and solving team problems.
